As a Security Officer Patrol Access Associate in Saint Louis, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access awareness through strong customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or members of the public by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and security-related policies at a government location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with supervisors, staff, and/or public agency personnel as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, public areas, grounds, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions that may require attention.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas, document security-related activities, and report observations, hazards, and/or policy violations according to site procedures.
  • Support emergency response activities, crowd management, and/or public assistance efforts when appropriate, while maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.
