As a Security Officer Full Time Reception Driver in Indianapolis, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a financial institution location, you will welcome visitors, manage access control and badge procedures, monitor alarm activity, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal policy. Requirements

  • Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Greet employees, visitors, and vendors; verify access credentials; maintain visitor records; and direct guests in accordance with location procedures.
  • Monitor access points, alarms, cameras, and communication systems from the front desk, and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and notification protocols.
  • Maintain a professional, welcoming presence that helps to deter unauthorized access and supports a controlled environment within the financial institution location.
