Requirements

• Possess a TSA Issued TWIC.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• A guard card/license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and authorized personnel by following site-specific security-related procedures, access guidelines, and emergency response protocols at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout assigned buildings, entry points, parking areas, waterfront/perimeter zones, and other restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances, gates, and credentialed access points, verifying identification and/or authorization for personnel, visitors, and deliveries in accordance with site policies.
• Support daily operations by reporting hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations, and/or assisting with security-related inquiries while maintaining a professional presence.
