As a Security Officer Luxury Highrise Patrol in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a hotel and resort location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming guest experience. You will communicate professionally with guests, staff, and visitors while responding to routine concerns and reporting observations. Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• A state, county, or city-issued security professional license is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• A Guard Card and/or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to hotel and resort guests, visitors, and staff while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to guest concerns, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, communicating with site leadership and emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of guest areas, entrances, parking areas, common spaces, and the property perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting suspicious behavior, maintenance hazards, and policy violations according to site procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and maintain professional communication with guests, staff, and Allied Universal leadership.
