As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed - Hospital in Greenville, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to alarms, and provide professional customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. This driving position offers the opportunity to support a caring environment through clear communication, teamwork, integrity, and the agile, reliable approach Allied Universal is known for.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, healthcare location policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disruptive behavior, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities as required.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, assisting with directions and maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.
  • Complete required reports, logs, and incident documentation accurately and promptly while communicating observations to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
