About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer Credential Control Driver for a food and beverage location in Saint Pauls, North Carolina. The role safeguards the site by managing access, verifying credentials, monitoring entry points, responding to alarm panel activity, and conducting patrols. The position requires a valid driver’s license and emphasizes customer service, communication, and a calm response to incidents.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The pay rate is $14.42 per hour. Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent and meet the applicable minimum age requirement. Employment is subject to background investigation and drug screening, as permitted by law. State or local licensing may be required.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located; required for this driving position.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age or older for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• State or local licensing may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Control access to the food production location by verifying identification, visitor authorization, contractor credentials, and delivery documentation.
• Monitor entry and exit points, maintain visitor and vehicle logs, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity to site leadership.
• Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations while following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, perimeter locations, and other assigned areas.
