As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. You will communicate professionally, respond to security-related concerns, and contribute to a caring culture built on teamwork, integrity, reliability, agility, and innovation at Allied Universal.

Requirements

  • Have at least two years of security-related experience.
  • Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A Guard Card or license is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial office areas, common spaces, parking facilities, and the property perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and general inquiries, and report unauthorized access concerns to appropriate personnel.
  • Prepare clear, accurate reports and communicate incidents, observations, and security-related concerns to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
