Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol professional in a healthcare setting, supporting a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, assist with hospital morgue and patient restraint situations, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Must be able to work in a hospital morgue.
  • Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • A Guard Card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
  • Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entry points, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and assist with directing visitors, staff, and patients in accordance with facility procedures.
  • Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel.
