About The Position

KRE Security, LLC is hiring a Full-Time Overnight Security Officer for a permanent Monday through Friday | 10:00 PM – 7:00 AM schedule. This is a professional security position with a consistent overnight schedule and opportunities for advancement. Officers should be prepared for the occasional "night shift regulars," including local wildlife.

The schedule is Monday – Friday, 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM, offering a full-time, permanent schedule with no rotating shifts and weekends off.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Strong communication and observation skills.
• Professional appearance and dependable work ethic.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Comfortable working independently during overnight hours.
• Must successfully pass a background check.

Nice To Haves

• Security, military, or law enforcement experience is preferred but not required.
• The ability to identify suspicious tail flicks.
• Confidence walking toward a group of deer that clearly believes they were there first.
• The professionalism to document, "Subjects dispersed upon officer presence," without laughing.

Responsibilities

• Provide a professional security presence throughout the overnight shift.
• Patrol the property and monitor buildings, parking areas, and access points.
• Observe and report suspicious or unusual activity.
• Respond appropriately to alarms, emergencies, and client requests.
• Complete accurate incident and daily activity reports using Belfry Software.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, clients, and fellow officers.
• Enforce all company and site-specific policies and procedures.
