About The Position
Contributes to the safety and welfare of patients, visitors and staff by executing Corporate, Hospital and Department policies and procedures in providing security for this institution. Must successfully pass an AHCA Level II background screening.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- One (1) year of security or law enforcement experience required, preferably in a health care facility.
- Must have or be eligible to obtain a State of Florida Class 'D' Unarmed Guard's License or have current Police Standards Certification.
- Employees in this position: Will operate vehicles for an assigned business purpose as a 'non-frequent driver'
- Must have or be eligible to obtain a State of Florida Class D Security Officer license or have Police Standards Certification.
