About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Customer Care Driver in Salinas, California. This position provides a reliable, designated site and weekly anchor shift, with a six-month commitment to the assigned schedule. Employees may claim additional shifts through the scheduling platform, offering flexibility to increase or reduce hours. The position is intended as part-time employment, with the opportunity to build up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week. The pay rate is $20.00 per hour. The listed schedule is Monday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; a valid license is required for driving positions.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age for armed roles.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on applicable state and local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and conducting emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
