This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, production areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and maintain accurate activity logs.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting actions taken.
Support the protection of media, technology, and business assets by observing site operations, reporting hazards or policy concerns, and following Allied Universal and client procedures.
