As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Security Presence in Jeffersonville, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate site contacts.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor entrances, exits, and visitor activity; verify credentials as directed; and assist with maintaining orderly access to restricted areas.
Prepare accurate reports of incidents, patrol activities, and unusual conditions, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site representatives.
