About The Position

We are seeking a caring and friendly Security Officer at John Knox Village, a leading healthcare and life plan community located in Pompano Beach. In this role, the selected candidate will greet Residents, Employees and Visitors in a warm, welcoming manner while guarding the entrance gates of the Village. This involves opening the gate to allow entrance or exit of Residents, Employees, and Vendors while checking credentials or approved roster before admitting entrance. There are additional duties and job requirements in this role that will be covered at the time of hire.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2+ years of Security experience
• 2+ years of Hospitality experience
• Valid driver's license
• Strong attention to detail
• Note-taking skills
• Able to sit, stand, and patrol for long periods of time
• Subject to Level 2 background screening in accordance with Florida law.
