As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic educational location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and provide outstanding customer service to students, staff, and visitors. Requirements

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and/or campus partners while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, requests for assistance, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of campus buildings, academic areas, residence areas, parking locations, walkways, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for unusual conditions, access concerns, hazards, and/or policy violations, and report observations through appropriate channels.
• Maintain accurate activity, incident, and patrol documentation in accordance with site requirements.
