As a Security Officer - Full Time Morning Patrol in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Must be 21+ years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities at a utilities location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and/or unauthorized access.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and report policy violations or suspicious activity according to site expectations.
• Support daily operations by completing incident reports, maintaining accurate activity logs, and assisting with security-related requests in a professional manner.
