As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Representative in Bronx, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Requirements

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR and First Aid experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare and housing location.
• Respond to incidents, behavioral health concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, while communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including interior areas, exterior grounds, entry points, and perimeter areas, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access to the location by observing arrivals and departures, documenting unusual activity, and reporting maintenance, environmental, and/or security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, timely reports of incidents, observations, and daily activities, and support a respectful, customer-focused presence for individuals who may be experiencing mental health and/or housing-related challenges.
