About The Position

Allied Universal is currently hiring a Part Time Security Officer for a Medical Company in Boston MA. This role involves serving and safeguarding clients in healthcare settings. The officer will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, respond to concerns, and provide professional customer service and clear communication. You will be part of an agile, reliable, and innovative team that puts people first, collaborates to deliver exceptional service, and acts with integrity.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, patients, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and communicating observations to appropriate personnel.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, laboratories, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and help to deter unauthorized entry into restricted areas.
Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities in accordance with site procedures, and support a professional, welcoming environment for all occupants.
