As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver Site Checks in Sugar Land, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment through exceptional customer service and communication. This primarily driving role offers the opportunity to represent Allied Universal with integrity, reliability, and teamwork while helping protect people, property, and operations.

Requirements

  • Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
  • Possess a state, county, or city-issued security-related license, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials as required, maintain visitor and contractor entry records, and report unauthorized access or suspicious activity.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site emergency protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, operational areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards.
  • Prepare accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation, and communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
