Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Flexible Part Time Security Officer for a Bank in Cambridge MA. This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Requirements

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations and activities according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter access points, helping to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor entry and exit activity, verify authorized access as directed by site policies, and report unusual behavior, maintenance concerns, and/or suspicious circumstances to the appropriate personnel.
Support day-to-day operations by providing visible presence, assisting with directions and general questions, and communicating clearly with site contacts, employees, and/or first responders when needed.
