As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Driver Mobile Patrol in Nazareth, PA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
  • Valid Driver's License - AU Driver Policy Requirements (C123):All candidates must possess a valid driver's license that complies with our company's driving policy. This includes adherence to any specific requirements outlined in the AU Driver Policy (C123). Candidates are required to provide a copy of their driver's license during the application process.
  • Valid Driver's License - In Job State (C124):Additionally, candidates must hold a valid driver's license that is recognized in the state where the job will be performed. This is in accordance with our In Job State Driver Policy (C124). A copy of the state-issued driver's license must also be submitted for verification.
  • Access Control/Badge Experience (B201)Candidates should have prior experience with access control systems and badge management. This includes familiarity with issuing, tracking, and managing access badges for employees and visitors.
  • Alarm Panel Experience (B202)Candidates must demonstrate experience in operating and managing alarm panel systems. This includes knowledge of alarm activation, deactivation, and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204)Proficiency in using computers or tablets is essential. Candidates should be comfortable navigating software applications, managing emails, and utilizing digital communication tools.
  • Customer Service Experience (B219)Candidates should possess a strong background in customer service. This includes experience in handling customer inquiries, resolving issues, and providing exceptional service in a professional manner.
  • Loss Prevention (B210)Candidates must have experience or knowledge in loss prevention strategies. This includes understanding theft prevention techniques, inventory management, and safety protocols.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or employees at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, vendor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns and contacting appropriate personnel as directed.
  • Prepare clear and accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift logs, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
