As a Security Officer - Visible Patrol - Full Time in Cleveland, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, entry points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and observe people, vehicles, and property for suspicious or unusual activity, following site protocols for visitor access, restricted areas, and/or after-hours activity.
• Support daily operations by preparing reports, maintaining assigned post responsibilities, and providing clear information and assistance related to security-related concerns.
