As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driving Role in Purchase, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a food and beverage location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. Requirements

  • Possess a New York State Security Guard License.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
  • Customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production and distribution location.
  • Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and documenting observations according to site procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, offices, and the facility perimeter to help identify irregular conditions and support site operations.
  • Monitor access points, verify authorized entry for visitors and delivery personnel, and maintain accurate visitor and vehicle activity records.
  • Report facility hazards, damaged equipment, unsecured doors, and other security-related concerns to appropriate personnel for follow-up.
