As a Security Officer Patrol Representative in Boston, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong communication and customer service. In a role built on teamwork, integrity, reliability, and care, you will help create a welcoming environment while responding to routine site needs with professionalism and adaptability.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
  • Be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
  • Meet licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations prior to employment
  • Possess a valid driver’s license for driving positions only

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a government location.
  • Respond to incidents, public concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following post orders and established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and observe site activity, reporting suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, hazards, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
  • Support traffic and pedestrian flow as directed, provide assistance with directions and general information, and document incidents, observations, and/or daily activities in required reports.
