As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Badge Verification in Sunnyvale, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and assist with loss prevention efforts. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while helping create a welcoming environment for shoppers, visitors, and team members. Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and retail team members by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout retail areas, stockrooms, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Monitor access points and assist with maintaining an orderly environment for shoppers, visitors, vendors, and employees.
• Complete accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
