Join Allied Universal as a driving patrol officer at a busy healthcare location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors with outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Required hospital vaccinations must be provided as a condition of assignment.
• Must be able to work in a hospital environment that includes a morgue.
• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital environment.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions, hazards, and/or unauthorized access.
• Monitor entrances, lobbies, hallways, and other assigned areas to help manage access, observe visitor activity, and support orderly operations in accordance with site protocols.
• Complete required reports and documentation related to incidents, observations, and/or daily activities, and relay relevant information to supervisors and site personnel.
