About The Position
Provides security for patients, visitors, and staff; Protect hospital buildings, assets, and premises against theft and vandalism.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent (GED)
- Must complete a certification course with the International Association of Healthcare Safety and Security (IAHSS) within twelve months of hire date
- Must have and maintain a Valid MS driver's license
- Must be able to be covered on Memorial Hospital vehicle operators' insurance
- No previous experience required
Nice To Haves
- Two years previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military experience
- Proficient working knowledge of the civil/criminal law
- Proficient working knowledge of hospital policies and procedures
