Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will help monitor access, conduct screening activities, and support security-related operations with professionalism and care. You will remain visible, communicate clearly, and provide great customer service while helping to identify concerns. Requirements

  • At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out screening procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a busy logistics and distribution location.
  • Screen individuals, belongings, and/or authorized items entering designated areas, document screening-related activity, and report unusual findings in accordance with post instructions.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership when needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, with attention to access points, shipping and receiving areas, and other sensitive locations as directed by site procedures.
  • Help to deter unauthorized access and/or prohibited activity by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, and maintaining awareness of security-related conditions throughout the location.
