As a Security Officer Full Time Driver Patrols in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a dynamic food and beverage location, where you will conduct routine patrols, support access activities, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. You will help to identify and respond to security-related concerns while representing a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, and guided by integrity and care.

Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
A state, county, and/or city issued security license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and appropriate emergency response actions at a food and beverage location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and perimeter points to help identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns.
Monitor entrances, exits, deliveries, and/or visitor activity to help support orderly operations and follow post instructions related to restricted areas and authorized access.
Report hazards, maintenance issues, policy violations, and/or suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel while following Allied Universal and site-specific security-related procedures.
