As a Security Officer Driving Role Area Patrol in Columbus, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a manufacturing and industrial location, where you will conduct routine patrols, support access activity, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out site-specific procedures, access activities, and emergency response support at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and reporting security-related concerns to the appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouse spaces, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or property-related issues.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and assist with screening and sign-in processes in accordance with site policies.
• Support order and continuity of operations by observing equipment areas, trailer yards, and shipping and receiving zones for hazards, disturbances, and/or policy violations, then communicating findings to site leadership.
