About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced for an assigned site in Austell, Georgia. The role provides a fixed weekly anchor shift with a six-month commitment, plus the option to claim additional shifts through the company scheduling platform. Employees may build up to 40 hours per week and can scale back when needed. The position involves security procedures and X-ray image review at a logistics and distribution location.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age or older for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

• X-ray screening experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and personnel by following site-specific security procedures, access-screening protocols, and emergency response activities.
• Screen employees, contractors, visitors, and deliveries entering the logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and shipping-related documentation as required, and report unauthorized access attempts or irregular activity.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated areas, including the business, loading areas, and perimeter, and document observations and incidents.
