As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver Observation in Tampa, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication to guests, tenants, and staff. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or client representatives by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed by site procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout retail common areas, parking areas, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
  • Observe and report suspicious activity, property concerns, hazardous conditions, and policy violations to help deter unauthorized activity and support a welcoming retail environment.
  • Prepare clear, accurate activity and incident reports and maintain communication with site management, tenants, and Allied Universal leadership.
