About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Patrol Unarmed Security Officer for a technology, media, and telecommunications location in Kearney, Nebraska. The officer will conduct routine interior and exterior patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security incidents, monitor visitor access, respond to incidents, and provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors. The scheduled shifts are Saturday and Sunday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The pay rate is $21.00 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by following security procedures and site-specific policies and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, access points, and the business perimeter; identify and report unusual conditions.
Monitor access activity and visitor entry according to site procedures, and report access concerns or policy violations.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, document observations, and notify designated contacts as required.
Maintain accurate daily activity reports and communicate relevant security information during shift handoffs.
