About The Position

As a Security Officer Guest Services Desk in Lansdowne, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a financial institution, you will serve as a welcoming, visible presence while supporting a professional environment for visitors and employees. You will manage access, communicate clearly, respond to security-related concerns, and help to deter incidents through attentive observation and outstanding customer service. Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous, professional customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a financial institution front desk while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Greet visitors, verify identification and appointment information, manage visitor access processes, and direct individuals to appropriate locations in accordance with site requirements.
• Monitor the front desk area, access points, and available cameras or communication systems; report unusual activity, access concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Maintain accurate visitor, incident, and daily activity records, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
