As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol in Thousand Oaks, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a commercial real estate location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, communicate professionally with tenants and visitors, and provide exceptional customer service. Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or clients by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property buildings, parking areas, common spaces, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, vendor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures; report unusual activity or access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
