As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and provide professional customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, hazardous material concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and escalation procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production areas, laboratories, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access control points, verify credentials as required, and report visitors, contractors, deliveries, and other site activity in accordance with site-specific procedures.
  • Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns accurately and promptly; communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
