As a Security Officer - Part Time Lobby in Tolleson, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Requirements

• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
• A current guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, visitor reception duties, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate for the location.
• Monitor front desk activity, greet employees, visitors, and delivery personnel, and help to verify access permissions according to site protocols.
• Answer questions, direct guests to the appropriate destination, and document visitor information, incidents, and/or unusual activity in a clear and professional manner.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying designated contacts and/or first responders when appropriate.
• Observe entry points, lobby areas, and incoming traffic at the location to help to deter unauthorized access and support orderly daily operations.
