Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a residential location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and/or unusual situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related matters to the appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential location, including common areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter access points, as working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, check doors, gates, and shared amenities, and help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior through visible presence and routine observation.
• Communicate with property staff, residents, and/or emergency personnel regarding security-related issues, policy questions, and incident updates as needed.
