As an Armed Security Officer supporting a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond professionally to security-related concerns. Requirements

Possess at least two years of security-related experience.
A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
Possess an armed guard card or license.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or baton experience is preferred.
CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government location.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor access to government facilities, verify credentials as required, and report suspicious activity, policy violations, and access-control concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and applicable procedures.
Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports, and communicate relevant information promptly with site representatives, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership.
