Requirements

Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
Have customer service experience, preferred.
Be able to lift more than 20 pounds, preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and other guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and help maintain a welcoming healthcare environment.
Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
Monitor access points and support visitor management procedures in accordance with healthcare facility policies.
Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
