As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver Role in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Applicants must be 21+ years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and appropriate emergency response actions at an aerospace and defense location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorizations, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and security-related issues according to site procedures.
  • Support assigned operations by observing surrounding conditions, assisting with incident response, and completing required logs, reports, and shift communications in a timely manner.
