Requirements

  • Have at least six months of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and/or emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Monitor and control access points by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and contractor entry, and directing authorized personnel in accordance with site requirements.
  • Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through appropriate channels.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, production areas, loading docks, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Maintain accurate access logs, incident reports, and shift documentation while communicating relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.
