As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Alarm Coordination in San Jose, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor access points and alarm systems, and assist occupants and visitors with professionalism. You will communicate observations, respond to incidents, and support a welcoming environment through exceptional customer service. Requirements

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property management by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial office buildings, lobbies, parking areas, common areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and site information, and maintain a professional presence throughout the property.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
