About The Position

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Hospital Patient Deescalation in Boca Raton, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Requirements

• Be willing to receive vaccinations required for hospital assignments.
• Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disruptive behavior, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe facility activity, reporting suspicious conditions, hazards, policy violations, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Document incidents, patrol activities, and shift-related observations in accordance with site-specific procedures and Allied Universal requirements.
