About The Position

Marksman Security is seeking a dedicated and compassionate 3rd Shift Unarmed Security Officer for the Toyota Motor Manufacturing site in Troy, MO. This role is crucial for deterring criminal activity, protecting property, and enforcing rules. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in security and customer service, be physically fit, and able to stand and walk for extended periods. This position offers a competitive compensation of $18.50 per hour for a 40-hour work week, Wednesday through Sunday, 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM, with Mondays and Tuesdays off. Additionally, officers are eligible for a $100 Quarterly Perfect Attendance Bonus for consistent reliability.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age or older
High school degree or equivalent
Valid state licensing
Professional demeanor and appearance
Basic computer skills
Must be able to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks
Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
Minimum of one year of customer service experience
Minimum of one year of security experience
Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background and drug)
This position will require occasional crawling, crouching, climbing of stairs, kneeling, running, sitting, standing, stooping and walking for extended periods of time

Responsibilities

Acknowledge and greet all residents and guests in a prompt and courteous manner
Manage all guest/visitor access as needed and eject trespasser or violators from premises when deemed necessary
Verify credentials of incoming and outgoing individuals/vehicles
Document and maintain a log of visitors and notify residents of visitor’s arrival
Assist in protecting others and equipment while enforcing policies and procedures
Monitor and or detect any suspicious behavior to assist in the prevention of vandalism, theft and or other criminal behavior
Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms
Patrol the perimeter (interior/exterior) to identify potential safety and security risks
Warn violators of infractions e.g., loitering, smoking and or in possession of prohibited items
Respond to calls of distress, alarms and or emergencies such as fire, injuries or presence of unauthorized individuals by contacting local first responders
Identify and report any and all concerns (safety, security breaches, unusual circumstances) in a timely manner
Ensures accuracy and timely submission of required documentation (reports/documents)
Ensure all rules/regulations are being enforced and followed
