As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Truck Gate in New Holland, PA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you. This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Requirements

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and drivers by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate at a food and beverage production location.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue visitor passes, and maintain accurate access-related records.
Screen incoming visitors, contractors, and deliveries in accordance with site requirements and direct authorized individuals to appropriate check-in locations.
Respond to access-related incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
