As a Hospital Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff. You will respond to calls for assistance, including in sensitive areas, while providing exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

Must be comfortable working in a hospital morgue.
Must be able to restrain individuals.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, communicating with appropriate site personnel and emergency responders as needed.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, building perimeters, entrances, and other assigned locations to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
Monitor access points and assist with visitor direction, access-control processes, and compliance with site-specific requirements.
Prepare clear, timely reports and maintain accurate logs for incidents, patrols, and other security-related activities.
