As an Unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor assigned areas, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response protocols at an aerospace and defense location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, and report activity according to established procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, production areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify concerns.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials, and assist with visitor and contractor entry procedures for restricted and sensitive areas.
  • Document patrol findings, incidents, and unusual activity through accurate reports and timely communication with designated personnel and/or emergency responders.
