About The Position

As a Security Officer Full Time Hospital Incident Prevention in Cleveland, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Requirements

  • Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
  • Must be able to restrain individuals.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established healthcare location protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
  • Assist with visitor management, directions, escorts, and access requests while maintaining a courteous and professional presence in a healthcare environment.
  • Document incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel.
