As a Security Officer Driving Role Patrol in Evansville, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Allied Universal officer at a busy retail location, you will monitor activity and conduct routine patrols while remaining visible to help to deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license, with opportunities to support customers and staff through strong communication and service. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while communicating with site contacts, visitors, and/or local authorities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store, exterior areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help to deter theft, trespassing, and/or policy violations while maintaining a professional presence.
• Document incidents, observations, and/or daily activities accurately and report security-related concerns to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
